Yesterday, in my Guess where I’m eating? post, I called out one of the worst offenders of green chile that I’ve ever seen. Disgusting doesn’t even begin to describe what was on that plate. Interestingly, I had high expectations for the Butcher Block’s green chile, mainly because more than one reader had suggested I try it. In retrospect, I think those readers were trying to kill me. In any case, I’ve never heard anyone ballyhoo the green chile smothering the chile rellenos in the above snap, and they should be, because this, my fellow green chile warriors, rocked my world. And I lapped it up in the most unlikely place.
Can you guess where I’m eating?
