Then do we have some news for you: To help kick off our Music Showcase (June 19), we’ve teamed up with the pub-quiz masters at Geeks Who Drink for the Westword Music Knowcase, an all-music pub quiz where you can test your music knowledge against the writers of this blog, the writers of the equally music-obsessed Donnybrook Academy, and whatever other basement-dwelling music snobs we can drag out.

What: Westword Music Knowcase Where: Irish Snug, 1201 East Colfax Avenue When: Sunday, June 13, 2010, 3 p.m. Cost: $5 per player, max six players per team Prizes: Cash prizes for winners, along with the ability to talk shit in the comments of this blog about how you beat our asses at trivia that one time.
