How was Portishead‘s show last week at 1STBANK Center? Well, guess that depends on who you ask and where they were sitting, apparently. Tom Murphy called it “one of the finest performances anyone is likely to see this year or any year.” And while one commenter who was sitting in a box said the sound was terrible and that the details and intensity of the music didn’t travel well, most everyone else thought the show was quite memorable — that is if you could get past the obnoxious fans, as Alkalinesky, who posted our comment of the day, pointed out:
