All right, so by now you’ve heard that Mudhoney had to opt off the Westword Music Showcase due to a scheduling conflict, which bummed some folks out, ourselves included. Well, our spirits have subsequently been lifted with the confirmation of A Place to Bury Strangers, who has signed on to perform at this year’s Showcase. If you’re not familiar, here’s a few links that should help you get that way. And if you are, then you know that outside of perhaps past Showcase performers Dinosaur Jr. and Motörhead, this is the loudest band on the planet. Earplugs not included.
