The Denver act has undergone a few lineup changes since the discs recording — absent are violinist/vocalist Amy Moe, mandolin player Geoff Morris and bassist/vocalist T. Bruce Egbert — a fact that has allowed singer/flautist Kris VanDeWalker to flower as frontwoman and lyricist. The bands current incarnation has more to do with straightforward, get-up-and-dance music than cultural collisions, though lively percussion, the sporadic accent of wind instruments and bright, breezy melodies separate Zeüt from its less-adventurous peers.
