System of Down (due tonight at Comfort Dental Amphitheatre with Gogol Bordello) played its first show in five years last week at Rexall Place in Edmonton, AB, Canada. Early reports suggest the band is back in fine form — at least from the reviews and the fan-shot clips that appeared on the web last week. For whatever reason, there seems to be some sort of an self-imposed embargo on the band’s part in terms of media coverage. Near as we can tell from the setlists we’ve seen so far, the band’s pulling from a 29-song set that kicks off with “Prison” and culminates with “Sugar.” Click through for a few videos and a look a the setlist they’ve been playing so far.
