Q: A group of people from work are going to a Rockies day game as a reward, and they want to go to lunch first. The Palm is too upscale, and they’ve all been to the Wynkoop Brewing Company. What other places would you recommend?
A: Most of the places right around Coors Field that serve food don’t hit any home runs, but there are several winners just a few blocks away: Dixons (1610 16th Street, 303-573-6100) for Southwestern and great margaritas; Redfish (1701 Wynkoop, 303-595-0443) for a raucous Cajun meal in a fun setting; or Bella Ristorante (1920 Market Street, 303-297-8400) for casual, family-style Italian.
