Earlier today on Facebook, Nathaniel Rateliff casually mentioned that Born in the Flood, the band he fronted before he became all chummy with the boys in Mumford & Sons, that reunited at the Gothic back in December, is playing tomorrow night at Lost Lake. If you’ve ever been to Lost Lake then you know that calling the gig intimate is an understatement. Cozy is more like it. Imagine cramming an arena rock band into your basement. Now you get the picture. This show will be almost be a throw back to the beginnings of the band when it used to play places like the Blue Mule. Should be pretty kick ass.
