Angie Stevens isn’t a soldier’s wife, but that certainly didn’t stop her from penning a heartfelt ballad from the perspective of a loved one estranged from military man during the holidays.

“I wrote this by trying to put myself in the shoes of the wife of a soldier,” Stevens explains on her Bandcamp page. “I can’t imagine being away from loved ones on Christmas and am grateful for the strong men and women who are. This Christmas let’s remember them and send love their way — God Speed!”
