No, Dave Chappelle did not get sick of his “Rick James, bitch!”-shouting fans and disappear into Morocco. The Oddball Comedy and Curiosity Festival, scheduled for tonight at Fiddler’s Green, has been postponed due to the massive flooding and rainfall that Denver and other cities have endured over the last few days.

But don’t fret: Chappelle, Flight of the Conchords and the rest of the amazing comedy lineup at Oddball aren’t abandoning us, never to return. They’ll stick around until Wednesday, September 18, when the show will go on at the same time, 5 p.m., at the same venue, Fiddler’s Green Amphitheater. Tickets for Friday’s show will remain valid for Wednesday’s. Stay tuned to showandtelldenver.com for any further updates.
Denver comedians Andrew Orvedahl and all four members of the Fine Gentleman’s Club are still scheduled to appear at the event. Obviously, then, FGC won’t be hosting its weekly Too Much Fun show at Deer Pile, but that show will also not be abandoned: Comedians Jordan Doll, Nate Balding and Kristin Rand will take over hosting duties for the night, which begins at 10:30 p.m.
