Given that Subaru is the unofficial car of Colorado (shouldn’t we make official now), it only makes sense that the vehicle so many people use to get to the slopes would partner with a ski area to promote safe skiing. This year, that lucky area is Loveland, which will host the “Master the Mountain” event Saturday and Sunday.

Subaru will have a “learning lane” for beginners at the base, where new riders can learn safety basics. The Loveland Ski Patrol will conduct an avalanche awareness training and beacon training. Nordica will have free demos during the weekend.

Subaru will be setting up a tent at the base, giving out free popcorn, hot chocolate, and coffee, and giving out random prizes during the event.

For those who are driving Subaru vehicles already, the first 100 to arrive will get VIP parking at the base of Chair 1.
