Advertising Can't Do It Alone
The challenges facing local news organizations are very real. That's why reader support matters more than ever. If you believe independent journalism matters, make a contribution today and help us reach our summer fundraising goal of $25,000 by August 9.
Every day Westword receptionist Steve Burge gives you the fashionable view from the front desk.
Something awful has happened. A “Look of the Day” featuring our classified advertising director, Teri, and a pair of amazing red crushed velvet pants was accidentally erased. Tragic, no? Luckily, our Siren of Sales was willing to make a repeat appearance, this time in polka dots. Teri’s black and white frock from Decade gives us a hint of Go Go Girl and a reminder of the flirtatious fun of the 1960’s. For the office, Teri has chosen a pair of simple, black heel’s from Jessica Simpson’s footwear collection. Something tells me, though, that this Westword Wonder Woman might just have a pair of vinyl go-go boots and a big, pink hula hoop stashed away somewhere… you know… just for fun. *wink*
