Plunge into Ocean Prime between 4 and 7 p.m. today, and you’ll find oysters Rockefeller and French rosé that may actually be in your price range. The Larimer Square restaurant has just introduced “Half Off the Half Shell Oyster Thursday,” when $9 nets you four fried Goosepoint oysters from Washington or a fresh half-dozen (they’re normally $18); you can also get four Goosepoint oysters Rockefeller for $10.
And to wash it down? “We have great rosé specials, including rosés from Spain, Italy and France,” says Ocean Prime’s Brittany Schrimple; they run $8, $9 and $10 a glass, respectively. That deal is in addition to another liquid asset at Ocean Prime: half-price bottles of wine on Sundays.
Also debuting this week is a revamped happy-hour menu, featuring sliders of both the Kobe beef and ahi tuna varieties. That menu is available between 4 and 6 p.m. weekdays in the Blu lounge or on the patio, which is sporting brand-new furniture.
