Officials with the Westminster fire and police departments have closed 92nd Avenue between Yates and Raleigh, an area captured in the graphic above (if you have problems seeing the image, click “View Larger Map”), due to a suspected gas leak. In a press release, Westminster Fire Department Captain Dave Sagel is quoted as saying, “We’re not going to let people pass through a potentially explosive atmosphere. The street will be closed until we can identify the source of the leak.” For now, then, keep that lighter in your pocket even if you’re a big fan of the Black Eyed Peas. Otherwise, boom, boom, pow!
