Cafe Society dished up six Guess Where contests last week, including a mint julep from Williams & Graham — or as one cheeky commenter quipped, Wallace & Gromit. And even though the Derby is done, when it comes to mint juleps, it’s just way too easy to say, “I’ll Have Another.”
As in, I’ll have another loaded hot dog from Billy’s Gourmet Hot Dogs, a joint that knows how to pile on the toppings; or I’ll have another ahi tuna sandwich from the clubhouse at Bear Dance, which is turning out some really terrific food. Not sure we want another round of jalapeno poppers from Margs Taco Bistro, however, and we’re still waiting on the right answer for another Guess Where? — a Vietnamese noodle bowl — to be identified.
But we don’t need another guess to answer the question of where we got our Korean barbecue fix last week.
For correctly identifying that restaurant as Kaya Korean BBQ in Westminster, jradddines wins an EatDenver deck. Jradddines, send your info to cafe@westword.com, and we’ll send you the deck.
This year, make your gift count –
Invest in local news that matters.
Our work is funded by readers like you who make voluntary gifts because they value our work and want to see it continue. Make a contribution today to help us reach our $50,000 goal!
But really, anyone who buys an EatDenver deck is a winner: For $50, you get 52 cards, each offering a $10 discount at a local, independent restaurant that’s a member of EatDenver (formerly DINR, the Denver Independent Network of Restaurants). You can buy the decks at any Tattered Cover location or at www.eatdenver.com.
Or, of course, you can win one right here. Because next Monday, Cafe Society will again award a deck to one of the winners of the previous week’s Guess Where I’m Eating/Drinking posts.
Happy eating….and guessing.
