While some restaurants are focusing on throwing a major Easter brunch bash, others are rolling out deals related to that other Sunday holiday: 4/20. Among the latter are Central Bar & Bistro, which is hosting a front-patio party on Saturday, and Bruxie, which is cooking up a special 4/20 deal.

On Saturday, Central Bistro & Bar’s second annual Smokedown Porch Party will start at 2 p.m. and continue through the day. This casual, picnic-style event comes with a side of live music from the Mike Maurer Band from 3 to 7 pm.There will also be $4.20 drink specials, $25 unlimited roasted hog, sides and fixin’s and $9 pulled pork sandwiches. On Sunday, April 20, Bruxie is offering a special deal: four Bruxie sandwiches — Buttermilk Fried Chicken & Waffle, Carolina BBQ Pulled Pork, S’mores and Strawberry Creme Brulee — for $20, starting at 4:20 p.m. That’s when the gourmet waffle spot will also switch its regular playlist so guests can jam to Phish, Grateful Dead and the like.
