In honor of National Oyster Da,y all four Jax locations will be offering free oysters from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m., while supplies last (after that, oysters are $1.25 each). Even Colorado Governor John Hickenlooper will be getting into the festivities; he’ll be at Jax’s LoDo location shucking oysters during the free oyster hour. For more information click here.

Old Major was one of only 25 restaurants in the country — and the only in Denver — to receive a special pig from Templeton Rye as part of its Heritage Pork Project; the animal was fed a diet using spent Templeton Rye mash.
