Independent Journalism in Denver Needs You

We need to raise $25,000 by August 9 to support the reporting our community depends on. Reader support keeps us independent and is playing a larger role in funding local journalism and shaping what comes next. If you believe independent local journalism matters, make a contribution today.

$25,000

Couples looking for an off-the-wall activity tonight — those hungry for more than love — should check out Mezcal‘s Couples Taco-Eating Contest, in which the competing couple that eats the most tacos (filled with either chicken or mixed veggies) wins a $150 gift card and a trophy. Although the roster of seven couples (who each pay $30) is filled, you can always hope for an opening — and you can definitely watch the action for free. The contest starts at 6 p.m. at Mezcal, 3230 East Colfax Avenue; for info, call, 303-322-5219.

There are many, many more Valentine’s Day activities, including too many dinners to detail here, but you’ll find plenty of possibilities in our yurt in Crested Butte?
