In addition to being one of progressive house’s most recognized jocks, Orlando’s Jimmy Van M is also one of the key point men behind the scenes. Back in 1992, when he began his career, the DJ took a very practical approach to the dance scene. After completing several nationwide tours of his own, he established Eros Euphony, a company designed to handle his own work as a producer in addition to overseeing numerous tour promotions and putting on events. Eros Euphony booked Sasha and Digweed’s first-ever U.S. tour and established Van M as a serious businessman. As a major figure in trance and progressive house, Jimmy Van M (appearing at Vinyl on Saturday, December 3) continues to push progressive dance sounds around the globe while remaining one of America’s most beloved DJs.
