There’s nothing worse than having high hopes for a restaurant, only to have them completely dashed, and that’s exactly what happened last night when I ordered the tacos dorados, which arrived with little more than lettuce and enough sour cream to overburden a landfill. And if that wasn’t bad enough, the joint was out of tamales and out of the avocado salsa. Can you guess where I’m eating?

Special bonus: Anyone who gives the first correct answer to the week’s Where am I drinking/eating posts is entered into a pool — and every Monday, we select one lucky winner who’ll receive a 2011 EatDenver dining deck, worth up to $520 in discounts at independent restaurants.
