Timely news for opening day: I just heard from the manager at what had been the Breckenridge Brewery & Pub that the name of this establishment at 2220 Blake Street, just up from Coors Field, has been changed to the Breckenridge Ballpark Pub.
The change is simply to avoid confusion with the brewery’s other spots: Breckenridge Brewery and BBQ at 471 Kalamath Street, the Ale House in Grand Junction and the original Breckenridge Brew Pub in Breckenridge.
The Blake Street outpost has also just hooked up a Nintendo Wii to one of its TVs. So when the bar isn’t playing the MLB package (and probably when it is), you can try your hand at some Wii sports — which are much less dangerous than real sports when you’re drinking real beers.
