Zagat recently released guides to both the fifty best plates of food and the best sources of caffeine in the country, and Denver makes both lists — rightfully so. The legendary Buckhorn Exchange, 1000 Osage Street, earns a nod for its classic Rocky Mountain Oysters, and Stella’s Coffeehaus, 1476 South Pearl Street, fields praise for its ambience and locally roasted coffee.

Wynkoop Brewing Company also receives a mention for its ballsy beer version of Rocky Mountain oysters — the Rocky Mountain Oyster Stout, in which bull testicles have steeped.
