Just got off the horn with Nelson Perkins, the executive chef/owner of Colt & Gray, who wanted to let us know that the kitchen is turning out something extra special tonight: Duck balls!
And just in case you were wondering, these aren’t your every day duck balls dropped from the flock that flutters around Washington Park. Absolutely not! There are duck balls from the prized ducks that hang out in the Hudson Valley — and there are only eight orders of them available, warns Perkins. They balls vary in, um, size, but Perkins says that for six bucks, you’ll get eight to twelve balls to a plate.
It sucks to be a duck.
