Land of Sushi in Centennial and its younger Westminster sibling, Hana Matsuri, have become time-tested favorites in the metro area, with the former pushing fifteen years and the latter going on six. And now the Liu family is planning for a third in their series of Japanese eateries known for some of the freshest fish in town. A sign is up at a shopping center in Lakewood indicating that Hana Matsuri Sushi II will soon join the family.
The owners expect to open the new Hana Matsuri in October, at 150 South Union Boulevard, on a bustling stretch that has attracted a number of new restaurants over the past couple of years. We’ll keep you posted once a firm date has been set.
