Another Westword DISH is in the books: hundreds of hungry Denverites feasted at the 21st annual food and beverage extravaganza yesterday at Sculpture Park at the Denver Performing Arts Complex. This year featured Tacolandia, a celebration of some of the city’s top tacos, enhanced with Mexican folk dancers, margarita samples and scantily clad luchadors. The rest of the fest was a frenzy of small plates from Cuban to Ethiopian to good old American street eats. Photographer Danielle Lirette was there to capture the food, if not the flavors. Here’s a handful of what DISH had to offer. For more, see our complete slideshow.
