Tom+Chee, a fast-casual concept that takes its name from the tomato soup-and-cheese sandwich combo we all loved as kids, got a big boost when it was featured on Shark Tank in 2013; the chain now has more than forty locations across the country, and just opened its first Colorado spot last week in the Streets at Southglenn. But will Coloradans pay for comfort food they could make at home? Says Douglas:
Stupid bullshit. People are going to pay like fifteen bucks for some dumbass food that is meant to be made and eaten in the “comfort” of your own home.
