Most behavioral experts recommend that people who’ve gone through something traumatic either directly or by association talk about their experiences rather than bottling them up inside. And thanks to technology, these emotions can be easily shared with the world at large.
Take last week’s shootings at Deer Creek Middle School. Even as alleged gunman Bruco Eastwood was charged in the assault, a slew of videos were (and are) accessible on YouTube featuring past students, locals who live nearby and the like unburdening themselves in a way that’s both healthy and cathartic.
