A family disturbance yesterday reportedly ended only after a SWAT team entered a residence, guns blazing.
Afterward, a man described as a robbery suspect by the Denver Police Department expired after suffering a fatal wound.
Two Denver police officers have been placed on leave — standard procedure following a shooting. However, it’s not certain at this writing if they fired the shots that ended the man’s life.

…but according to 9News, the deadly conclusion was preceded by hours of interaction between the cops and the suspect.
At 5:30 p.m. on Sunday, November 22, the station reveals, officers were dispatched to the aforementioned location on a report of shots fired during a family disturbance.
The person suspected of pulling the trigger is said to have had been the focus of a felony robbery warrant.
What followed were several hours of negotiations that failed to bear fruit, prompting a decision to call out what a DPD spokesperson describes as “tactical resources.”
In other words, SWAT teams, which ultimately entered the home prior to 11 p.m. Gunfire ensued, and the suspected was declared dead at the scene.
How he got that way is uncertain. Fox31 notes that investigators haven’t determined if he shot himself or was killed by police.

Thus far, the police department hasn’t released the name of the suspect.
Nor have either of the SWAT officers who fired at the man been ID’d.
Beyond that, the DPD has confirmed that one other person was inside the home at the time of the incident — though we don’t yet know if he lived at the home, 9News acknowledges.
