Hickenlooper’s crisp rendition of “A Taste of Money” and the brew-pub-inflected “Guv Potion #9” are his best-known numbers. Beyond these favorites, the singing nerd serves up slow Spanish balladry (“Phone Tree”), breezy Broadway-style tunes that reference his need for attention (“Snapshots and Poses”), melancholic rhumbas about his early days as an unemployed geologist trust-funder (“Brother, Can You Spend A Dime?”) and Southwestern-seasoned polkas (“Wingnuts”).
