Yesterday we reported that Peruvian bistro Limon closed on 17th Avenue after nearly ten years in business. And it turns out that another Peruvian eatery closed earlier this month: Pikkas in Cherry Creek has also gone dark.
Two newer restaurants downtown, Viand and Reunion Gastropub & Wine Bar, announced they’ll be opening their doors to the homeless from 4 to 6 p.m. on Christmas Day for a free turkey dinner. Several sides will be included in the meal and those in need will be able to eat at the restaurants or take their dinners to-go. Viand and Reunion opened this fall in the dual restaurant space previously occupied by Le Chateau and Prime Steakhouse at 15th and Arapahoe streets.
