We recently posted about a survey that showed Denver was among the twelve best U.S. cities to find a job.

Rent wasn’t the topic of the piece.

However, the subject was raised by one our commenters, as is often the case.

According to him, living here is great — but paying for the privilege is pricey. Here’s what he had to say.

Work brought me to Denver for a year and it was an awesome experience. A truly amazing city where I met some great friends… However the cost to rent there was higher then when I did work contract ts in NY, Scottsdale, Ft. Myers and Las Vegas. Not a cheap city to live in if you’re not pulling down a huge salary.
