Despite its name, you don’t have to wear a backwards baseball cap and cargo shorts to enjoy the Bro Show. As long as you’re a guy, or even a woman who likes “guy” things, you’ll find something to love at the event.
“You have the sports guys. You have guys who like comedy. You have guys who like to drink beer,” says organizer Steven Stokes. “The intent is to have everything a guy needs, all in one place, [to] make a show that any guy coming in is going to feel good about.” To that end, the evening will feature everything from presentations on hunting and fishing to a Halo tournament, plus an MMA fight, comedy from Steve “Mudflap” McGrew and an opportunity to show off your beer-pong skills. Relax in the man cave, shoot some pool, play poker and just revel in the majesty of manhood. Whatever your dude agenda, you can fulfill it here.
The Bro Show starts at 5 p.m. tonight at the Denver Mart, 451 East 58th Avenue, and continues through Sunday. Tickets are $12 a day in advance, $15 at the door; a Man Card VIP pass is available for $40 and includes a three-day pass, access to the gun show next door, three beers, a cigar and more.
