Last night, a packed house at Red Rocks to watch Pineapple Express had their vibe harshed. A monsoonal thunderstorm was so fierce that just before the flick rolled, organizers canceled an in-progress show for the first time in Film on the Rocks’ history. According to my twin daughters, who were in attendance, the crowd filed out in orderly fashion. They saw no panic or freaking out — but the special effects were amazing! Look below to see a video from the scene, as well as a slew of other clips capturing Mother Nature’s wrath in all its splendor.
