Earlier today, the APD shared a slew of amazing, mostly black-and-white images from the 1980s featuring lots of bushy hair, porn-star mustaches, antiquated equipment, big guns and badass attitudes. They look like outtakes from a vintage Sidney Lumet cop-drama we wish we could be watching right now. Check out the collection below, complete with captions from the APD.
Update: Shortly after the publication of this post, we heard from the son of Aurora Police veteran Jim Perrott, who shared a great photo of his dad with a perp circa the early 1980s.
