More than 48 hours after bullets flew, there are still more questions than answers about a drive-by shooting that killed one person and injured two others.
At this writing, the Denver coroner’s office has yet to publicly identify the homicide victim.
Moreover, no suspect information has been released, even though there were plenty of witnesses at the scene, where a party had been taking place.
Here’s what we know thus far.

At about 2 a.m. on Sunday, July 19, according to the Denver Police Department, officers were dispatched to 59 North Stuart Street. The report: a shooting.

Upon their arrival, officers found three people suffering from gunshot wounds.
These parties were rushed to a nearby hospital, where one person was pronounced dead, a second was hospitalized with serious injuries and the third was treated and released.

The paper quotes witnesses as saying that guests leaving a house party got into a beef with some non-attendees about a half-block away.
Shortly thereafter, a vehicle — it may have been gray — rolled up and its occupant or occupants opened fire on a porch where a number of people were talking. Three men were struck and a woman suffered cuts from shattered glass.
