Will you step up to support Westword this year?

At Westword, we’re small and scrappy — and we make the most of every dollar from our supporters. Right now, we’re $22,000 away from reaching our December 31 goal of $50,000. If you’ve ever learned something new, stayed informed, or felt more connected because of Westword, now’s the time to give back.

This sad phone sits in the dark and ominous tunnel that plays harmonic tones reverberating off the solid concrete walls.

For being a sheltered area, the tunnel is cold, dark and wet from the footprints of light-rail travelers.

This phone is always at the ready inside of this dark cavern, as it looks out for the safety of the people who brave the void underneath the interstate.

Cursed with a life of being constantly on stand-by, this phone’s sole purpose is to help those in need of any assistance whatsoever.

If you plan on making a call from this phone, you probably weren’t really planning on it, so good luck.
