Everyone became a freak on a leash when Korn blasted into Fiddler’s Green Amphitheatre on October 16 for a whirlwind show that included openers Gojira and Spiritbox.

Since forming in 1993, the nu-metal pioneers of Korn have continued to push boundaries, especially with their latest albums, Requiem (2022) and Untitled (2023).  With a legacy spanning decades, Korn’s influence on modern metal is undeniable, and the members’ ability to blend aggressive riffs with melodic hooks has solidified its status as one of the most iconic bands in the genre.

The set kicked off with “Here to Stay” and “Dead Bodies Everywhere,” and even nodded to Metallica with a riff in “Shoots and Ladders” before a three-song encore of “Falling Away From Me,” “Oildale (Leave Me Alone)” and “Freak on a Leash.”
