Are Anna and Blake From Love is Blind: Denver Together?

The first six episodes of the Denver-based season of Love is Blind premiered on Wednesday, October 1 — and we have some questions.

Why did Kacie think she would get away with lying about not being attracted to Patrick? Is Mike’s so-called national tribe of wealthy men a cult? And what moves does Jordan have under his belt to be the best sex of Megan’s life on the very first go?

But one question stands out above the rest: What happened between Anna and Blake?

Though they were both exploring multiple connections, things seemed to be going great between 28-year-old hairstylist Anna and 34-year-old accountant Blake. That is, until episode three, when Anna suddenly left the pods early without saying goodbye to her dates. Soon after, Blake followed suit. Did he leave to chase after Anna? The show didn’t tell us, but their social media pages offer clues to what happened after Netflix cut the cameras.

While we don’t know whether Blake tried to reconnect with Anna when he left the pods, it appears that the two are not dating today.

Anna’s Facebook profile picture shows her on a boat kissing a bearded man. The profile is private and the couple’s faces are semi-obscured, but Anna’s identity can be confirmed via the tattoos visible on her thigh and right foot, and old posts from public accounts that tag Anna.

While it is possible that Blake grew a beard after leaving the show, none of his social media posts from the last year show a lick of facial hair. The same goes for Anna’s other failed pod connection, Patrick, suggesting that this mystery man is a new love interest entirely.

Based on online stalking, our best guess is that Anna’s beau is a man named Connor, who has the same beard shape and black painted fingernails as the kisser in the photo. We won’t share his full name out of respect for his privacy, as he didn’t participate in Love is Blind.

As for Blake, his Instagram profile is mysteriously tagged in a post by fellow Love is Blind contestant Hilary, although he appears in none of the photos within the post. This is a glitch that occurs when a tagged photo is deleted from an Instagram carousel without first being untagged. Perhaps the deleted photo contained spoilers about a possible off-screen romance…

This is the first Colorado-based season of the reality show, which brings together 32 singles hoping to find love sight unseen. The romantic hopefuls date one another through a wall, only meeting face-to-face after they get engaged. The bizarre setup is meant to foster deep emotional connections outside of surface-level attraction. The pairs then have around a month to honeymoon, live together, and decide if they will say “I do” or “I don’t” at the altar.

Five couples have survived thus far. They’re all vacationing in Mexico as of episode six, but they will soon return to the Mile High City to test their relationships at home.
