Since the summer of 2004, the Longmont-based humor quarterly American Drivel Review has been sticking it to the McSweeney’s mob by going beyond satire and the merely ironic to offer experimental, subversive and absurd humor that “runs the gamut from intellectual to intestinal,” according to founder and editor Tara Blaine. To celebrate the favorite holiday of fools and unveil both a new issue and website, tonight ADR will present A Cabinet of Curiosities, a bash featuring music, words and comedy by more than fifteen performers, including Laird Hunt, Brie Feingold-Africa and a group from the Bovine Metropolis Theater. Things get rollicking at 10 p.m. at RedFish Fish House & Brewery, 2027 13th Street in Boulder; admission is $6. Get more information at www.americandrivelreview.com or by calling 720-494-8719.
Sun., April 1, 10 p.m.

If you’ve ever learned something new, stayed informed, or felt more connected because of Westword, now’s the time to give back.
