We live in a world of letters — letters in books and on billboards and TV screens, and appearing clickety-clackety as our fingertips conjure them out of keyboards. But author Kitty Migaki found characters lurking in more unusual places — among the angles and curves and cornices of buildings — and that’s how Alphabet Denver came to be. Migaki will share her picture-book, which uses GPS as a component for families to discover the places it portrays, tonight at 6:30 p.m. at the Tattered Cover Highlands Ranch. Following is a sampler of sites she discovered while researching the book, including a sneak peek at a few of the page spreads.
