The main attraction is the world premiere of Tell Martha Not to Moan, by playwright and scholar Clinnesha D. Sibley. It will be performed more than a half-dozen times over the course of the festival; the first performance is tonight, March 15, at 8 p.m. And on Sunday, March 17, the festival will host “Voices of Identity,” an open forum for playwrights to discuss their craft and the role of women’s writing in the larger world.

Through the festival, there will be selections from the Athena Project’s Plays in Progress series, which spotlights new plays by four up-and-coming female playwrights. An accompanying art show will be open through the festival at The Collection. And on March 26, “A Night of Music” will feature Zoe Zuker, Krysty Bosse and I’m With Her.
