Looking to support the local shred economy by sending your ski and snowboard dollars to Colorado companies? Copper Mountain likes the way you think, and will present its third annual Colorado Days event this weekend in Burning Stones Plaza, at the base of the American Eagle lift.

“It’s really pretty cool to have all of the Colorado brands showcased at a single event like this, and the early-season terrain park at Copper is a great place to put these snowboards and skis to a proper test,” says Mike Gagliardi, sales rep for Denver-based Never Summer Industries.

Other Colorado companies on hand include Icelantic and Meier Skis; snowboard makers Weston, Oz and CoLab Movement; and outerwear manufacturers Freeride Systems and CandyGrind.

“I think there’s a lot of value in local roots, which is what we’ve been about from the beginning and is the reason you’ll see a lot of the hard-core locals on our boards,” says Gagliardi.
