The 4 U 2 Place in the King Soopers complex at 1331 Speer Boulevard is hosting a Poetry Art Party tonight celebrating the work of three esoteric artists: Brian Curran, Hektor Munoz and John Watts, all members of the Denver Art Society.

The festivities will start at 6 p.m. with traditional rice and beans made by the artists. The evening will also include a poetry performance by Munoz and St. Louis poet Chris Hanch.

She’s received dozens of local, state and national awards for writing, including first place for feature writing and first place for column writing with the Society of Professional Journalists, and is a weekly commentator on Colorado Inside Out, PBS12’s public affairs roundtable.
