Rebecca Rosen claims that she was a lost soul, fighting a losing battle against depression until her grandma Babe — who had been dead for ten years — came to her. Grandma Babe, who had also struggled with depression and taken her own life, would take over the pen when Rebecca would journal and eventually helped her granddaughter not only deal with her demons, but also start her own business as a psychic medium connecting others with their deceased loved ones.
Today you can spend An Afternoon with Rebecca Rosen at Trilogy Wine Bar and Lounge, 2017 13th Street in Boulder. The group reading from 1 to 3 p.m. costs $40. “An audience reading gives people an opportunity to witness spirit communication in a non-threatening environment,” she says. “I basically allow spirits to work through me. Whoever needs to be read is read. I’m big on validation. I want people to know it’s real. Some people are afraid to do it because they don’t want to hear anything bad. I’m not a fortune-teller. I only work with loving energy.”
Most likely, not everyone in the audience will get a reading. Typically, Rosen says she gets through 25 to 40 percent of a group. She will leave time for questions and answers at the end.
