It’s your lucky last chance to see another closing Biennial-related show: Artists’ Footprints, a group exhibit curated by Denver artist Viviane Le Courtois that explores sustainability specifically and directly through the artworks included, comes down tonight, but not until after a closing reception featuring artist talks with three participants. It all happens at 7 p.m. at RedLine, 2350 Arapahoe Street; talkers include sculptors Rian Kerrane, Michael Brohman and Jessica Moon Bernstein. Admission is $6 (or free for RedLine members). The loose and artsy Wednesday-night gathering that is Gorinto tonight hosts Emancipation Proclamation, an evening of music and vegetarian eats (including the special Bob’s tofu burrito), put together by artist/musician Kurt Bauer, in collaboration with his brother Andy Bauer and visiting musical dignitary Bob Drake. The Bauers promise an unusual set of Chinese/Uyghur/Mongolian music before taking up with Thinking Plague’s Drake, a regular on Denver’s avant music scene back in the ’80s.
