In response to a Denver Post story that suggested Dan Maes had fabricated a story about his past as a police officer, Maes spokesperson Nate Strauch told Westword‘s Michael Roberts that “[Maes] never claimed he was a master spy.” That may be true, but over here at Show and Tell, we feel as if he may be selling old Dan a little short. After all, Maes is hip to the vast U.N. conspiracy, and the way his campaign is going, it’s almost like he’s trying to sabotage Dick Wadhams. Whatever the case, Maes may not be a spy, but here’s what could have been.
