The Denver Public Library’s annual Used Book Sale continues today under the white tents on the north side of the main branch, and it’s chock full of titles you wouldn’t want to pay $24.99 for, but on which you might risk a buck (or two). Which isn’t to say there’s not a lot worth looking at. In fact, there are roughly 70,000 books on hand, and if you can deal with the crowds, they’re yours for a song. You won’t find a lot of New York Times best sellers, but you will find a good number of books on Western history or even Colorado — which is the opposite of what the city’s One Book, One Denver program continues to dish out. But that’s a story for another day (and a lot more discussion).

In the meantime, enjoy this sale, which continues today and tomorrow from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and on Sunday from 10 a.m. to 1.
