At Denver International Airport yesterday, Southwest went the extra mile of flair by festively decorating concourse C with Halloween-themed stuff — stuff like the three gravestones above, which sported humorous epitaphs. Most of them were pretty goofy, but a closer inspection revealed that at least one was a clever dig on competitor United Airlines that, if it didn’t cross the line into weirdly inappropriate considering the context, it certainly toed it. The good: In your face, United! The not-so-good: “Flew” is spelled wrong.
