The medieval courts of Europe knew a thing or two about partying. After all, they created the masquerade, which is all about mystery, sexual intrigue and the giddy suspense of the unknown. Amnesia Parties, the promoters behind tonight’s Amnesia Sexy Masquerade Party at Five Degrees nightclub in LoDo, know this very well. The crew at Amnesia recently brought its glamorous party aesthetic from Miami Beach to spice up Denver, beginning with its Hollywood Boulevard fashion show in September. Now Amnesia is bringing you a night filled with sensuous house music by DJ Manos, sexy costumed dancers, and cirque performances by the enchanting Kaivalya Hoop Dancers. Wilhelmina model agency will also be in the crowd looking for new faces, and there will be a VIP section where, if chosen, models can meet with agency talent scouts.
Ladies are encouraged to adorn themselves in sexiness from head to toe; think royalty and extravagance. Think racy notes slipped under locked doors. Think Phantom of the Opera. Gents should be looking sharp to impress the ladies, and of course, all attending must wear an alluring mask from which to perhaps catch a coquettish glance from a delightful countess or elicit the gaze of a handsome cavalier.
