One way to relieve stress that requires a bit less exertion than yoga? Tiny magnet balls. That’s the philosophy of Zen Magnets, a Denver company that distributes high-powered, rare earth super-magnets, five millimeters in diameter. As the website notes, folks can play with them as a way to relax — pulling them into chains, folding them into fabrics and melding them into limitless shapes. These little magnet balls also just so happen to be at the center of a federal complaint from an agency called the Consumer Product Safety Commission, which is pushing the company to recall the products the CPSC says can cause serious injury when swallowed.
